In the sphere of safety the Roomster is a carefully tried-and-tested vehicle. This is corroborated by tests of the independent organisation Euro NCAP, in which the Roomster scored five stars.

But even perfection can be improved, and so the new Škoda Roomster has come up with innovations to the offer of electronic stability assistant systems.

The Roomster can be fitted with an ABS Plus packet, which as well as ABS and MSR, while the Dual Rate vacuum power brakes contains a tyre pressure control function. 

A second innovation is ESP Plus, which includes the ESP, ASR, EDS, HBA systems and the hill hold control.

The front headlamps have undergone an important design change and technical modifications. The Roomster can be fitted with a new arrangement of projector halogen swivel head lights, which improve illumination when turning and increase journey safety. The vehicle has front fog lamps with Day Light function, and the Corner function is available upon request.

Airbags

Up to six airbags protect you in the Roomster. Front and side airbags for driver and front passenger are taken for granted in Skoda vehicles. Head airbags cover the entire side of the vehicle.

Corner function

Thanks to the Corner function turning at speeds of up to 40 km/h will see the fog light automatically gradually light up in order to light the road in the direction being travelled at an angle of up to 60°. You will appreciate this function most of all in the city when turning blind junctions.

ISOFIX

If you are going to be carrying the smallest members of your family, you will appreciate the fact that two child seats can be attached using the ISOFIX system as a standard part of the safety equipment of the Roomster.

Parking sensors

You no longer have to worry about reversing when parking in city streets. Four ultrasonic sensors in the rear bumper will warn you in good time of the shortening distance between your vehicle and any barrier behind it.
